The origin story
Founded 2024 · Pakistan
XFlash started in 2024, founded by Osama Khan. The first product came out of a simple observation: restaurant owners in Pakistan were either using nothing — paper notebooks, WhatsApp orders, hand-written kitchen tickets — or paying 30–35% commission to international aggregators that didn't care about their business.
The middle ground — affordable, owner-friendly software built for how Pakistani restaurants actually operate — didn't exist. So I built it.
Within 6 months of launch, restaurants in 5 cities were using XFlash for online ordering, rider management, and customer push marketing. Their friends in other industries kept asking: can you do this for gyms? Schools? Salons? Same problem, different domain.
Today XFlash's flagship vertical is SmartRestro — a family of restaurant products (Online, POS, and Enterprise) covering every tier from a single-counter café to multi-branch chains. Gymnexa is in development. SchoolBase is on the roadmap. The pattern is the same every time: go deep into one vertical, build the workflows operators actually need, price it fairly for the region.

SmartRestro Online v1 ships
First product launches. Restaurants in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar onboarded for online ordering + custom domain + zero commission.
Multi-branch + rider GPS
Restaurants asked for delivery management. We built the full rider PWA with GPS tracking, OTP delivery confirmation, and km-based payouts.
SmartRestro POS launches
Standalone thermal POS at Rs 2,999/mo — for in-store cafés that don't need online ordering. KDS, floor plan, cash drawer, Z-report.
SmartRestro Enterprise
Full suite for chains — POS + HR + payroll + inventory + supplier purchase orders. Multi-branch BI. Live at smartrestro.pro.
Gymnexa + SchoolBase
Same playbook, new verticals. Gym membership management and school admin software in development.

Started the company after running out of patience waiting for someone else to build decent software for Pakistani restaurants. Hands-on across product, engineering, and customer support.
Hasanat Durrani
Builds the SmartRestro Enterprise suite — POS, HR, payroll, inventory, supplier purchase orders, and multi-branch BI. Focused on the workflows that keep restaurant chains running.
Working with a small circle of independent contractors and product partners — including specialists who help extend the SmartRestro Enterprise suite — but XFlash stays founder-owned and independent.
